Day 6 of induction and the sugar craving is gone

Tonight we made ground beef with some chopped tomato – simple and very filling.  Also had some cheesy broccoli with it.  I need to up my water, it seems I work so much that I keep forgetting to drink it – ugh.  I am going to go drink a liter of water right now!

Things are good, food is getting a little boring so I need to begin getting more creative with my cooking – ideas?

  1. Way to go!!! I have been experimenting with different ways of cooking meats and chicken to keep from getting bored. Tonight was burgers on the grill with swiss cheese and of course BACON. Everything tastes better with bacon, even bacon!!!!! What abouts do you live? I’m around the Houston area. Meat is getting expensive so I’m always looking for sales and stocking up when prices are low. I SO MiSS PASTA!!!! LOL Take care.

    1. Pasta IS the enemy but I think I only liked the stuff I added to it like garlic, olive oil, mozzarella, tomatoes and now I can have all those but no pasta lol

      Meat is getting high here too in NY – South Shore of Long Island. I have a restaurant depot meembership which I need to take more advantage of, maybe get a side of beef – lol

      1. No Restaurant Depot here, I do have a Costco membership. Meat is not much cheaper than the grocery store but the cuts are a lot leaner. Of course the packages are larger. I agree on what you said about pasta. I use to polish off an entire box in one meal. Just made pesto recently and put it on some veggie, was pretty good. Same with alfredo but that is a lot higher in fat so don’t make it as often. Anywho, back to work.
