On /r/keto: Keto macros noob question

Hi guys noob ketoer and first time poster, I've been on keto since 01/01/15 and already lost 8kg (17lb), I've always counted carbs but never payed much attention to protein and fat intake (just made a conscious effort to eat more fat) my question is: do I need to focus on my macros more? And should I worry about over eating?

On /r/keto: [NSV] ate one Reese’s peanut butter cup

I've always had trouble with self control. If there's a bag of candy, it wouldn't be there in the morning.

Three weeks into keto I'm asked to house sit. Now, my home is free from snacks and foods that are known triggers or favorite crutches. Here, there is a printer paper box full of valentine's candy.

I allowed myself one peanut butter heart.

9.5 grams of carbs I know, but day had consisted of eggs and meat so I was within my macros.

My fear was that I was going to relapse into old behavior. I didn't. Wasn't even tempted.

Tl:dr had chocolate, didn't lose my shit.

On /r/keto: Here we go !!!!! (M, 35yrs, SW 217, GW 190)

I made the decision to try this Friday and I'm on day two. This is gonna be tricky because I'm currently taking prednisone 🙁

I do boxing 4 or 5 days a week so I hope that helps.

Also I was doing high protein before this averaging 1200 to 1500 cals. Should I up that or leave it as is ?

I tried to tell my dad to throw this pack of diabetes away and he refused telling me something about "portion control" but there is no way in HECK that the man could fit this into his macros unless he ate less than 1/6 of a cup and even then, PURE SUGAR CARBS CRAP. RANTRANTRANT SHIRAKIKU for betraying us even though you also make shirataki noodles! T.T

On /r/keto: “Bulletproof rapid fat loss”… Only fat for 5 days. Most extreme keto?

I was just browsing and came across this.

5 days of essentially 100% fat apart from some salt and supplements seems to be the most extreme keto induction I've seen. It is interesting that the first meal you have you are able to eat certain carbs like sweet potatoes and he seems to encourage it.

Any thoughts?

I know Dave is a bit koo koo and a sales man in some areas, but while this diet may have a negative effect on your muscles, it is only for 5 days and if you are very overweight it might be the best way to kick your body into changing? People have starved themselves for far longer, and you arent even starving here.

As an aside, I did try his "Get Some" Ice Cream, it was actually amazing and everyone should try it. It is basically about 90% fat from lots of eggs, coconut oil, butter and mct oil. Though I messed it up adding too much water and so it ended up being a delicious mousse in my fridge.
